Time-Frequency Study on Vehicle Starting Vibration Characteristics Based on WT and STFT

  • According to the vibration problems of the auto start/stop process in vehicle, based on the combination of wavelet transform (WT) and short time Fourier transform (STFT), an accurate identification of vibration signals method for rapidly and effectively identify the vibration characteristics of the auto start/stop process. In this method, wavelet transform is applied to efficient handing the maximum vibration time of non-stationary signal during the auto start/stop process, the short time Fourier transform is used to analyze the peak amplitude and frequency of the vibration signal. The feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation analysis and experiment.
