Abstract
The Mn-based metal-organic framework (Mn-MOF) material was successfully synthesized by reaction of dihydroxyterephthalic acid and Mn2+ ions under solvothermal condition. The synthesized Mn-based MOF was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and N2 absorption-desorption (BET). More importantly, the catalytic measurements show that Mn-MOF was a good catalyst for benzylalcohol oxidation under air conditions and still gives 94% conversion in 6 h after 10 catalytic cycles, implying its good potential application as heterocatalyst.
