Research Progress of Fabricated Light-Gauge Steel Residential Material

Nowadays, many policies have been promulgated by the central and local governments, which promotes the development of fabricated building. Fabricated cold-formed thin-walled steel buildings, as a representative of green prefabricated constructions, have been attracted more and more attention at home and abroad. Herein, the features of the new building systems and the performance requirements of materials were introduced by the analysis of some typical cases. The existing problems and development prospects of housing systems in China were analyzed.
