Abstract
Based on the theoretical model of combustion, the fire temperature field distribution characteristics of typical inflatable membrane structure are investigated by use of a computational fluid dynamics software——FDS.Temperature field distribution of the membrane surface under different fire scenarios is analyzed. Numerical simulation results show that the radial temperature distribution is relatively homogenous, and the circumferential temperature gradient changes greatly when the fire source is far from the membrane surface; however, when the membrane surface is close to the fire source, radial and circumferential temperature gradient are both relatively small, as well as the temperature filed is relatively homogenous.The results provide a significant reference for the safety evacuation and further structural design of fire resistant.
