Abstract
Catalytic oxidation of CO is an effective environmental protection method for CO removal. There are many factors affecting the activity of CO oxidation, such as moisture content, precursor solution, preparation method, calcination temperature and catalyst weight. Recently, non-noble metal oxides have attracted the attention of many researchers, especially Co based catalysts. Although the Co based catalyst has excellent catalytic performance for CO oxidation at low temperature, it is easy to lose its activity under water containing condition. Therefore, it is urgent to improve the catalytic performance of CO oxidation at low temperature under water bearing condition. The research progress of non-noble metal (Co, Cu and Ce based) catalysts was reviewed, and the effect of water on CO oxidation activity of non-noble metal catalysts was discussed. At present, our research group was trying to construct a new type of water-resistant polymer film to achieve the purpose of enhancing the activity, and had achieved certain results, and put forward suggestions for future research.
