Abstract:
In order to improve the safety management of construction projects, the traditional earned value (EV) method and the safety management theory were combined in the present research. A complete set of construction safety evaluation system was constructed from the perspective of management performance by introducing two safety control levels, three parameters of the earned value method, four safety performance evaluation indexes and evaluation criteria. The nonlinear grey Bernoulli model improved by particle swarm optimization and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method considering combination weighting were used to determine the planned and actual safety control level. The results of the case study showed that the safety management performance evaluation system based on EV method had considerable feasibility and applicability in the evaluation of safety in the construction process.
