Abstract:
Based on practical engineering problems, FLACS was used to simulate and analyze the effects of wood dust explosion release effects. Seven different initial conditions were set up to study the effects of different dust cloud sizes and positions and ignition positions on wood dust explosion release effects. Simulation results show that the closer the ignition source is to the bottom of the central axis of the dust collector, the faster the flame spreads to the pipe; the dust cloud is more dangerous in the lower half of the dust collector than in the upper half.
